A Sight Mission Team Like No Other…

Operation Restore Sight can be differentiated from other eye care mission teams by the level of expertise and vast scope of ophthalmic subspecialties we provide. This is hugely advantageous as we are able to provide care for complex surgical cases while meeting specific host institution educational exchange requests and needs.

The ORS team has a huge breadth of experience in teaching and training ophthalmologists and allied eye care professionals and are able to transfer skills and knowledge to local eye care physicians to ensure ongoing care.

Our team members include professors of medicine and researchers who have developed innovative surgical techniques and published numerous peer-reviewed research publications.

ORS team members discovered a previously unknown eye disease, serve on panels at the National Institutes of Health and are assisting NASA with research to identify ophthalmic issues faced by astronauts.

Our team members are frequently called upon to make presentations at national and international ophthalmic conferences and webinars and are often featured in publications for their expertise.

The Operation Restore Sight outreach team travels to some of the most remote areas of the world to bring high-quality eye care to rural populations.
